So Much to Tell: The Story Behind Every "Mariñeira"
At Daveiga, we’ve always believed that our products don’t begin at a table. They begin much earlier. They begin at sea, in tradition, in the hands that work every day to make something as simple—and as special—as a mariñeira possible.
That's why being part of the campaign “So Much to Tell” from Gadis It's not just a source of pride. It's an opportunity to do something that defines us: tell our story.
When the Product Speaks
This initiative was born from a clear idea: every local product has a story that deserves to be heard. Stories of hard work, of community, of roots. Stories that speak of Galicia.
In this new edition, based on the concept of La Antemesa, the products themselves speak for themselves. Before they reach the table, they tell us where they come from, what lies behind their flavor, and why they are unique.
And that's where our "mariñeiras" come in.
From the boats to your table
Mariñeiras are not just a type of crispy bread. They are the legacy of a tradition that dates back centuries: the bread that accompanied sailors on their long voyages.
At Daveiga, we carry on that legacy and bring it into the present from Chantada, crafting a product that retains its essence: crumb-free, long-lasting, versatile, and, above all, authentic.
Every "mariñeira" tells a story of a journey—of the sea, of time, and of adaptation. It tells of how something designed to withstand the open sea is now part of everyday life in thousands of homes.
Local Product, Real Impact
Being part of “Mucho que contar” also means highlighting something fundamental: local products as a driver of development. Gadis It works with more than 1,000 local producers, strengthening the local economy and committing to sustainability and quality.
Behind every product lies employment, a region, and a future. And in our case, there is also a business model centered on people and the environment.
What You Can't See (But Can Feel)
When you choose a mariñeira, you're choosing much more than just a side dish.
You choose tradition.
You choose closeness.
You choose a way of doing things that is calm, thoughtful, and respectful of who we are.
Because, yes, our "mariñeiras" are crunchy. But they count, too.
And now, thanks to this campaign, they can say it out loud.
