Daveiga Joins the Reading Rebellion

At Daveiga, we’ve always believed that there are projects that go beyond what they do. Initiatives that build community, make an impact, and help keep our roots alive. That’s why being part of initiatives like Reading Space For us, it comes naturally.

We recently had the opportunity to spend a very special day with them in Chantada, where they were able to get an up-close look at how we make our Mariñeiras cookies. You can now experience this visit for yourselves through their project The Reading Rebellion.

Opening the doors to share who we are

During the event, we didn't just show how we make our Mariñeiras. We also shared something just as important: why we make them that way.

Throughout the video, Alba—from Daveiga’s communications department—narrates our story, our values, and how we view this project. From the origin of the name “Mariñeiras” to the way we work, it’s all part of a story that goes beyond the product.

Because behind every slice of toast there's a way of doing things.

Culture, Territory, and Commitment

Initiatives such as The Reading Rebellion They remind us of the importance of preserving and promoting Galicia’s cultural fabric. Reading, sharing, creating… are also ways to build community.

At Daveiga, supporting these kinds of projects is a natural extension of our commitment to the region and the Galician language. We believe in a vibrant, active, and curious Galicia, where culture and business can go hand in hand.

Thank you for choosing us

We would like to thank Reading Space your visit, your interest, and, above all, your ongoing efforts to promote reading and culture. Because in the end, whether it’s literature or food, it all starts with a good story. And we still have a lot to share.
