Daveiga presenta nueva imagen corporativa y packaging en algunas de sus bolsas

The project includes a transformation that involves an evolution of the company logos “Daveiga” and “MARIÑEIRAS®” and a new visual identity, but also changes to packaging  which goes hand in hand with a refreshed tone and style of communication.

NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY

Daveiga’s new corporate identity aims to convey the dynamism inherent in a company that is true to its history, vision, values, and team. This change, without straying from the company’s essence, propels the brand forward and enriches it, building a more solid identity with greater personality, freshness, creativity, fun, and a stronger connection to the present. All of this is done without losing sight of its purpose: to improve people’s daily diets through a company that engages in responsible production across various sectors, grounded in the social economy and the revitalization of rural Galicia.

The evolution of the logo represents another step in the transformation process that Daveiga has been working on recently, with the goal of projecting a more modern, flexible, and digital image. The previous logo had been in use since 2006, and the decision to create a new image stems precisely from the desire to visually express the company’s transformation and evolution. Now, the logo has been simplified and modernized to adapt to the times, with the goal of creating a more contemporary and clean brand identity that connects with the company’s various target audiences.

The new identity thus reflects the Galician company’s commitment to minimalism and digital environments without losing the brand’s essence. This is why the sailor has once again been chosen as the symbol of the brand, but this time with simplified details that convey modernity, accompanied by a new corporate identity that maintains the brand’s distinctive colors and features new typefaces designed and optimized specifically for digital environments.

The design incorporates a product description—“Bread Without Crumbs”—as a simple yet powerful way to convey the product’s concept and origin: a solution sailors used to preserve bread naturally during long voyages. This also avoids any association with other types of cookies.

NEW PACKAGING

Daveiga is rolling out a new design for all its bags to communicate and present content in six languages, featuring Galician as the primary language to highlight the brand’s commitment to and connection with the region, while also incorporating Basque, Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, and English to highlight its connection to its origins and celebrate the richness of the land where the company’s respect for and recognition of the languages used by its consumers are fostered.

In addition to the rebranding, Daveiga has launched two new flavors in its natural line: whole-grain and salt-free. Both varieties are designed to meet the needs of today's consumers.

The rebranding process, implemented and developed by Lacía—a company specializing in branding and packaging design—marks a shift in the company’s visual communication. Lacía’s in-depth knowledge of the brand and its experience have been key to reflecting the new Daveiga in its corporate image and identity.
