2025: A Year of Traveling to Food Fairs with Daveiga
2025 has been an eventful year for Daveiga. A year of travel, meetings, and many conversations about our seafood. Food fairs are a unique opportunity to share our philosophy, meet industry professionals, and continue bringing the flavors of Galicia to new places.
Throughout the year, we have participated in some of the most important events in the food and beverage industry, both in Spain and across Europe. This journey has allowed us to continue growing and strengthening our presence in the professional sector and in international markets.
An International Debut in Germany
The year began with our participation in ISM Cologne, held in Cologne, one of the world's leading trade shows dedicated to the snack and confectionery industry.
This international event brings together thousands of food industry professionals every year and allowed us to showcase our mariñeiras to distributors and companies from different countries, thereby strengthening Daveiga’s presence in international markets.
An Introduction to Professional Gastronomy in Spain
Throughout the year, we also participated in several key events in the national food industry.
One of them was Gourmets Fair, in Madrid, one of Europe's leading trade shows for high-quality food products. There, we were able to share our offerings with chefs, distributors, and food industry professionals.
We also participate in Horeca Mallorca, a gathering place for the hospitality industry in the Balearic Islands, where our "mariñeiras" sparked great interest as a base for tapas and creative dishes.
Gastronomy and Innovation at Major Culinary Events
Another highlight of the year was our participation in Barcelona Gastronomic Forum, held in Barcelona, an event that brings together chefs, producers, and professionals seeking to innovate while maintaining a connection to the product and the region.
We also had the opportunity to participate in the A Coruña Gastronomic Forum, an event that showcases Galician cuisine and the work of local producers, where we were able to share our mariñeiras with culinary professionals and food lovers.
Supporting the Galician agri-food sector
This year's trade show tour also took us to Salimat Abanca, held as part of the Galicia Green Week in Silleda.
This event is one of the major showcases for the Galician agri-food sector and an opportunity to continue strengthening our ties with producers, companies, and professionals from our region.
A Year of Encounters and New Opportunities
Each trade show has been an opportunity to showcase who we are: a Galician company committed to quality, tradition, and innovation. But they have also been opportunities to listen, learn, and discover new ways to enjoy our mariñeiras.
