Mariñeiras de Daveiga Joins Forces with Onda Chicha to Promote Galician Musical Talent
Mariñeiras de Daveiga announces its collaboration with Onda Chicha, the project launched by Chichalovers y Radio Líder which was created with the goal of providing visibility for emerging artists and groups from Galiciaa, creating real opportunities for the development of the music scene in our community.
Promoting Galician Talo
Through an open call for submissions, Onda Chicha selects bands and solo artists who will have the opportunity to participate in various promotional and outreach activities, including interviews on Radio Líder with airtime and social media coverage, the recording of a track at the Chichalovers creative space, and interviews on Quincemil Magazine and participation in the CHICHAFEST, where the three winning projects will perform live at the Sala Capitol in Santiago de Compostela on June 13, 2026.
For Mariñeiras de Daveiga, being part of this initiative means reinforcing its commitment as a local producer in rural Galicia, supporting projects that share values such as the social economy, cultural identity, and the promotion of the local language and talent.
