Alcampo Adds Mariñeiras to Its “Cultivamos lo Bueno” Line”
In recent months, there has been an interesting new development in the range of consumer goods: Alcampo has expanded its product line with two types of crispy toast Produced in Galicia under the quality seal We Cultivate What Is Good.
Las Mariñeiras —available in versions with oats and with chia seeds— are produced in Chantada (Lugo) Thanks to our partnership with Daveiga, which offers a healthy option made with all-natural ingredients that align with current trends in responsible consumption.
A Commitment to Local and Natural Products
The toasted bread slices are part of the “Cultivamos lo Bueno” line, a label that brings together products with verified origin and traceability, free of additives, and designed to offer simple, healthy, and environmentally friendly options.
In this case, the main ingredient is wheat flour sourced from carefully selected fields, along with other natural ingredients, with no added sugars. The packaging has also been designed with sustainability in mind, using plastic that is fully recyclable.
A product that combines tradition and modernity
Las Mariñeiras are the result of a process that combines artisanal techniques with contemporary production methods, creating a crispy bread that’s perfect for eating on its own or with other foods. This product captures the spirit of traditional Galician bread and adapts it to the needs and preferences of today’s consumers.
For Daveiga, participating in projects like this means not only producing high-quality food, but also strengthening our connection to the region and to initiatives that promote the value of local products within large retail chains. It’s a way to show that products made with dedication and respect for the raw ingredients have a place in both traditional channels and large-scale retail settings.
What does “We Cultivate What Is Good” mean?
The brand under which these new toasts are sold is more than just a logo: it represents a commitment to more transparent production practices, simple ingredients, and processes that protect both consumers and the environment.
This approach is in line with the growing demand for products that provide simplicity, flavor, and nutritional quality, without compromising on values such as sustainability and traceability.
