Mariñeiras de Daveiga announces its collaboration with Onda Chicha, the project launched by Chichalovers y Radio Líder which was created with the goal of providing visibility for emerging artists and groups from Galiciaa, creating real opportunities for the development of the music scene in our community.
An award that reinforces our commitment to rural communities and innovation
At Daveiga, we are very grateful to have received one of the awards from the Galician Food Cluster as part of the Galicia Food Awards 2025. For us, this recognition represents a significant boost and confirmation that the path we chose years ago—based on responsible production, innovation, and our connection to the region—remains the right one.
From our facilities in Chantada, where we produce our well-known Mariñeiras, we have been working for years with a clear goal: to demonstrate that it is possible to develop a solid business venture in rural Galicia, generating economic, social, and cultural value.

The award we have received recognizes business initiatives that are committed to innovation and new ways of driving the food sector forward. In our case, the jury particularly valued our commitment to research, responsible production, and our connection to the rural community.
For us, this recognition is also a tribute to the work of the entire Daveiga team. Every day, people from different departments help ensure that our project continues to grow without losing its essence: a company committed to the region, to its people, and to the quality of its products.
